Suit was commenced by the plaintiffs, Ronald Dickman, a minor, by Francis J. Korf, his guardian ad litem, and his father, Harold Dickman, to recover for injuries sustained while Ronald was a guest in an automobile driven by the defendant, William Schaeffer, a minor, when it collided with an automobile driven by the defendant, Robert L. Wood. The defendant, Superior Mutual Insurance Company, is the insurer of Schaeffer, and the defendant, Farmers Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, is the insurer of Wood. During the trial the defendants by stipulation each paid into court half of $5,833 for the plaintiffs, and the action continued to determine the issues raised between them. The defendants, Schaeffer and his insurer, cross-complained for contribution, alleging Woods negligence as to lookout, management and control, making a left turn without giving a signal, and making a left turn in violation of secs. 346.31 and 346.32, Stats. Wood and his insurer cross-complained for contribution alleging Schaeffer was negligent as to lookout, management and control, failing to yield the right of way, and operating an automobile under the influence of alcoholic beverages, and Wood sought to recover damages for his personal injuries and to his automobile.
